About me

Mirabela Dragoev, Romanian Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist based in Poole, Dorset.

Hello, I'm Mirabela Dragoev

My passion for therapy comes from a genuine interest in understanding people and supporting them through life's challenges. I believe that meaningful change begins within a safe, compassionate and trusting therapeutic relationship, where you can feel heard, understood and accepted.

My Approach

As an Integrative Counsellor & Psychotherapist, I believe that therapy should be as individual as the person sitting in front of me. Rather than following a single therapeutic model, I tailor my approach to your unique needs, drawing from a range of evidence-informed approaches to create therapy that feels collaborative, flexible and meaningful.

At the heart of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I strive to provide a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you feel safe enough to explore your thoughts, emotions and experiences at a pace that feels right for you.

My practice is trauma-informed and grounded in an understanding of the relationship between the mind, body and nervous system. Through my work in primary care and specialist trauma services, I have developed a particular interest in supporting individuals affected by trauma and complex trauma. I continue to expand my knowledge through ongoing professional development, ensuring my practice remains evidence-informed, compassionate, and responsive to each individual's unique needs.
